Josh is a native Oregonian and comes with quite an impressive resume. Before returning to Oregon with his wife and young son, he lived in San Diego and Las Vegas where he's worked as a stylist, National Color Educator, Platform Artist, and Salon Owner.
UP Salon welcomed Josh to the crew in November of 2017. Josh has been in the industry for nearly 17 years, he's Vidal Sassoon trained and spent several years as a Paul Mitchell Color Educator, as well as an Advanced Academy Educator. With Josh, haircuts are all about precision, custom to each face and head shape to accentuate only the best features. His precision cuts allow you to wash-and-wear with little to no effort. Josh takes the same approach to color, taking each clients lifestyle and unique look into consideration and tailoring color(s) that suites the individual's desire for something with a little drama, or a fresh look with easy upkeep.
Josh has a wealth of experience and has a TON of great stories about his days jet setting around the U.S. doing hair for the rich and famous, and even the Russian Mafia!
